Biography

Matt Brown, Resident of Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin & Candidate for State Representative, Wisconsin Assembly District 22

As a resident of Waukesha County since childhood, Matt began working at an early age. His first experience working on a dairy farm not only sparked a love of agriculture but also helped him develop an honest work ethic. He began management responsibilities early in his career as an assistant manager at McDonald’s.
For over 38 years Matt was a hardworking public servant working for the City of Waukesha as an industrial mechanic. There he served on the safety committee and participated on the negotiation board as an active member of the AFSCME union.
Matt is a devoted husband, father, and member of Elmbrook Church, who enjoys such hobbies as pickleball and gardening.
After retiring, he has grown in his civic contributions by participating in several organizations like the Sussex Green Team, Grassroots Menomonee Falls and volunteers for the Waukesha Park and Recreation Dept. Matt aspires to help bring an end to gridlock by bridging the political divide and ensuring a better future for the next generation.
